Holden Fund Committee

… inspiring member growth since 1977

                Eunah Temple Holden was a very generous DKG member.  She left almost $100,000 in her will to start a committee dedicated to encouraging academic excellence and organizational leadership skills. 

               This year alone, the committee funded the International Leaders Orientation Meeting (ILOM) for the Administrative Board and International Committee Chairs that took place in Austin, Texas at the end of August. 

                The committee approved $1,000 of financial support for the keynote speaker, Albert Monreal Quihuis, at the International Conference in Phoenix, Arizona.  In addition, the committee approved 600 Euros for Professor Minna Huotilainen to speak at the International Conference in Finland. 

                 The committee did not stop there.  We approved $1,000 to help financially support the 2023 Latin American Conference. 

                 Our work is not finished!  More will come at a later date!
